Detailed Itinerary

  • 8:00 a.m. – Welcome in Quero

Our guide will meet you in Quero's central park to accompany you to Hacienda Hipolongo, where your adventure begins.

  • 8:30 a.m. – Start of the horseback ride

With the horses ready, we begin the ascent to the top of Igualata. You will discover what life is like for the authentic Andean chagra as you ride among pine trees, ravines, and grasslands.

  • Pine Forest

Explore a magical forest inhabited by wolves, rabbits, eagles, and other species of the páramo. Here you will get a close-up look at the local flora and fauna.

  • Guayama Pampa

We arrive at a vast meadow where, if you are lucky, you will be able to spot herds of wild cattle. Enjoy a delicious box lunch in the countryside and take a 30-minute break to explore the area on foot.

  • Return to the hacienda

After the walk, we will begin our return journey. Once at the hacienda, a typical Andean lunch awaits you, along with time to relax and enjoy our facilities.
