Our mission and vision

Mission

 

We are a leading farm, in the Quero canton, in the  production of tubers and milk and the raising of equine cattle, using  for this efficient systems based on development environmentally friendly and fully sustainable. Having tourism as a second line of business, being the only farm, in the Quero canton, to offer rural and farm tourism, specializing in horseback riding and hiking.

In 2030, we will be a model company in the agricultural and tourism sector, widely recognized  locally, nationally and internationally for its seriousness, the quality of its products, the innovation in its services and commitment to the social development of the surrounding communities and our country.

Good security and biosecurity practices

​

  • We have a security system with which it seeks to prevent, inform and offer answers to our tourists about the risks that are linked to crime, safety and health in the area.

  • We have a contingency plan in case of a volcanic eruption and ash fall from the Tungurahua volcano.

  • We have an evacuation plan to ensure the safety of our tourists.

  • We have biosafety protocols, based on those suggested by the Ministry of Tourism.

  • We have minimized the environmental impacts that are being generated by tourist activities in the area.

  • We have generated an environmental remediation plan in which they seek to conserve the habitats, species and ecosystems that the farm owns.

  • We are a generating source of new jobs in the area.

  • We promote the sustainability of microenterprises thanks to fair trade with the SMEs that supply food in the canton

  • With the collaboration with the Provincial GAD they have managed to rehabilitate and restore the access of the local communities and to the tourist attractions of the zone.

  • Strategic alliances are generated with the different tourism managers of the canton.

  • Hemos minimizar los impactos ambientales que se está generando con las actividades turísticas en la zona.

  • Hemos generado un plan de remediación ambiental en el cual buscan conservar los hábitats, las especies y los ecosistemas que posee la hacienda.​

  • Somos una fuente generadora de nuevas plazas de trabajo en la zona.

  • Promovemos la sostenibilidad de la microempresa gracias al comercio justo con las PYMES proveedoras de alimentos del cantón

  • Con la colaboración con el GAD Provincial han logrado rehabilita y restaura el acceso de las comunidades locales y a los atractivos turísticos de la zona.

  • Se generan alianzas estratégicas con los diferentes gestores turísticos del cantón.

Terms and conditions of our tour packages and services

Información adicional de nuestros tours

 

  • La Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo se reserva el derecho de retirar a cualquier individuo en nuestros paquetes turísticos, si es que así lo consideramos, por ejemplo, si el turista se encuentra en estado etílico, si el turista vino a faltar al respeto al guía o a otros turistas, si el turista NO presta atención a lo que el guía explica, etc.

  • La Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo no acepta ninguna responsabilidad por cualquier pérdida de pertenencias, accidentes o cualquier daño al turista durante el desarrollo de todos y cada uno de los paquetes turísticos, en cada una de sus modalidades.

  • Todos los itinerarios son referenciales, los guías pueden cambiarlos dependiendo de muchos factores, como por ejemplo cuestiones climatológicas, huelgas, situaciones políticas, no hay la cantidad de turistas mínimos requeridos, etc.; de igual forma siempre podemos hacer la cancelación de los paquetes turísticos por las razones antes mencionadas.

  • Las reservaciones de los paquetes turísticos están sujetas a disponibilidad al momento de procesar su solicitud y no podrán ser garantizadas hasta haber recibido el pago inicial.

  • Los precios son por persona en un grupo mínimo de 2 turistas, incluyen los servicios que se indican en la descripción del paquete turístco.

  • Si la reserva se hace dentro de los 30 días anteriores del paquete turístico, se deberá cancelar la totalidad del paquete una vez confirmada la misma, en el caso de que la reserva sea mayor a 30 días se deberá cancelar el 50% del valor total de la misma.

  • En la reserva indicar alergias y restricciones alimenticias al momento de confirmarla.

Reservation Policies

 

  • Theratesthat apply are valid on the day of their quote (24 hours), after expiration it may vary.

  • Theservice reservationsthey are subject to availability at the time of processing your request and cannot be guaranteed until the initial payment has been received.

  • TheBookingswill be accepted up to 30 days before the visit to the Hacienda.

  • We suggestread cancellation policiessince any change of reservation is subject to availability and re-quotation of rates.

  • Thepricesthey are per person and include the services indicated in the description of each package.

Payment Policies

 

Initial Deposit 

  • shall bepaid 40% of the totality of the contracting of the services or tourist packages within the 48 hours following the confirmation.

  • TheDepositwill be made to the bank account of the Treasury.

Full payment

  • The  payment  total  of all services or tour packages must be 48 hours prior to arrival at the Hacienda.

  • In case thebookingis later than the previously designated deadlines, customers must abide by the time limits imposed by the Treasury.

  • If thebookingit is done within los previous 10 daysUpon the visit to the Hacienda, the entire package must be canceled once it has been confirmed.

  • Thebreachof these time limits will result in the cancellation of the reservation, without exception, freeing Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo from any responsibility.

Tourism Operations Policies

 

  • Be between 15 to 10 minutesbefore the departure time, you will wait 10 minutes maximum after the indicated time.

  • Los timemarked are estimates, since they may vary according to various factors that may occur during the trip, weather conditions, traffic, etc.

  • Tourists must abide by theindicationsof the guide and/or the accompanying tour leader (schedules and meeting points), they are the ones in charge of the tour.

  • The previous day at the beginning of the tour, the recommendations, data of the assigned guide and tour leader, and emergency contacts will be sent.

Cancellation Policies and Penalties

 

  • In cases where  cancel the reservation  by the client without having started the trip, will be subject to the respective penalties as appropriate as follows:

    • Penalties according to the days of cancellation prior to the departure of the trip

From 31 to 25 days-->There is no penalty charge
From 24 to 20 days-->50% penalty
From 19 to 10 days-->80% penalty
From 09 to 01 days-->100% penalty

  • In case any tourist hasdrawbackspersonal force majeure that prevent their presence at the time of check in, will be considered as NO SHOW (not presented), so it is subject to 100% penalty and is not subject to any refund. 

  • Inhigh seasonreserves the right to require full and immediate payment of reservations; including those reservations that have been confirmed through advances, in accordance with the policies previously described in this document.
