Detailed Itinerary

08:00 a.m. - Meeting at Quero
Your guide will be waiting for you at the Quero Central Park to welcome you and begin the experience. From there, you will travel by vehicle to the southern boundary of Hacienda Hipolongo, the starting point of the hike.

08:30 a.m. - Beginning of the hike through the páramo
The adventure begins among ancestral chaquiñanes surrounded by mountains, pine trees and the characteristic wind of the páramo. We will advance through the Pampas de Guayama, where you will be able to observe the native flora and, with a little luck, wildlife such as paramo wolves and Andean rabbits.

Natural and cultural tour
During the hike, your guide will share with you knowledge about the environment and customs of the Chagras: life stories, land management techniques and the role of the community in the conservation of the Andean ecosystem. The road to Toro Singuna will take us back through a picturesque pine forest.

Lunch at the hacienda and rest
After about 4 to 5 hours of hiking, we will return to Hacienda Hipolongo, where a typical lunch prepared by local cooks with local ingredients will be waiting for you. After lunch, you can enjoy the hacienda's facilities, relax or simply contemplate the Andean landscape.
